Behind the Design: Building Manner

Manner is a template for design studios and agencies that want to look confident without shouting. Here’s a short look at the decisions behind it.
Highlights
No visual noise, ever
Typography carries the hierarchy
Modular and easy to reorder
No trends for the sake of it
The brief I gave myself was simple: no visual noise. Every section had to earn its place by communicating who you are, what you do, and why it matters — nothing else.

Type does the heavy lifting
The layout leans on large, patient typography and a strict grid. When type carries the hierarchy, you need fewer decorations, and the design ages better.

Built to be edited
With 8 pages, 16 sections and 26 components, Manner is deliberately modular. Sections can be reordered or deleted without breaking the rhythm, so your version doesn’t have to look like mine.
